To tattoo or not to?

When I'm still in college, my friend persuaded me to have an "anklet" tatoo with her for fun. I told her I would if her answer to my questions will satisfy me. I asked her the following: What's your motive for wanting a tattoo? If I do so, does it glorify my God or draw attention to myself? Will my tattoo be a source of contention for my loved ones? Will getting a tattoo cause me to disobey my parents? Will my tattoo cause someone who is weak in the faith to stumble?

We end up agreeing not to have a tattoo. How about you? What's your point of view about TATTOO. Let me hear it by joining the conversation on just clicking on the widget below.

  1. I have a tattoo on my right arm, right below my elbow. It is the sun kissing the moon, it is a small one. I got it a long time ago, I do not think God will punish me for it.

  5. Sometimes I admire people who can express themselves through tattoo, but personally I don't think I could ever have one. : )

  6. Hi there,

I don't have a tattoo yet, but I would like one with the initial of my son's name. I still don't know where I'm going to put it, but I do know it won't be big.

I know many people who have tattoo's, some have a few while others go overboard. I think if you have a few and they are small then it's ok.

Maybe you change your mind and get one, let us know.
